Blue Rock Search is partnering with a well-established, rapidly growing, and highly profitable pizza chain to identify their next Catering Manager.
The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and developing the catering systems within the business.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven individual who has a strong background in catering sales, customer relationship management, and business development.
You will be responsible for building relationships with local businesses, event venues, and other potential clients to drive catering sales, with a focus on both inbound and outbound sales strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Catering Sales & Development: Lead efforts to drive catering sales, focusing on both inbound catering requests and outbound sales strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, event planners, wedding venues, convention centers, and other relevant sectors in Las Vegas.
Work to increase catering revenue from $200k–$300k annually to a $2M target in the short term, with long-term goals of reaching $5M–$6M in sales as the company expands to 5-6 locations.
Package Development: Develop and design catering packages and combo offerings to meet a variety of client needs and event types (weddings, conventions, corporate events, etc.). Customize catering solutions based on customer requirements and market trends.
Operations & Logistics: Oversee the drop-and-deliver catering service model, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of orders.
Eventually, expand into the serving side of catering as the business grows, although the focus will remain on drop-and-deliver for now.
Sales Strategy & Tactics: Utilize your expertise in catering and sales to craft effective sales tactics and strategies.
Leverage existing relationships and create new business opportunities to generate catering leads and convert them into sales.
Menu & Pricing: Collaborate with the culinary team to create menu offerings that cater to different event types and customer preferences.
Provide input into cost and pricing strategies for catering packages and menu items.
Team Leadership: Work closely with the Director of Operations and key stakeholders to develop a sales function for catering that supports company growth.
Be hands-on in building the catering sales function and provide leadership as the company expands.
Client Account Management: Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and follow-up.
Develop and manage key accounts, including the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), and continue to build the customer base.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in catering sales, business development, or a similar role.
Proven success in building and growing a catering sales function, preferably in the Las Vegas market or in a similar high-volume, event-driven environment.
Experience in relationship management with large clients, venues, and event planners.
Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies to generate new business.

Ability to think strategically and execute on sales plans to drive catering revenue.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.
Experience with menu development and pricing strategies in the catering industry.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations and culinary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Established book of business or relationships with local venues, event planners, or corporate clients in the Las Vegas area.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Knowledge of the Las Vegas catering market, including conventions, medical events, weddings, and parties.
