Class 1 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to join us at our depot in Newark for our client, the leading retail electronics company, Currys.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on the shift pattern of 'any 5 from 7' with the start time windows of 20:00 - 00:00 and 00:00 - 04:00.

Annual salary from £42,095 to £43,199 based on the shift pattern

What you will do on a typical day:

Deliver goods to stores and customer service centres nationwide

Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner

Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time

Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement

Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards

No more than 6 current penalty points

No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years

Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
