Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced S/4HANA SAP Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager plans, executes, and delivers all projects on time, on budget, and within scope in accordance with business priorities. This person will work closely with our internal and external stakeholders and must demonstrate professional knowledge to ensure that the work products and deliverables are of the highest quality. This person will also apply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve workflow productivity, develop and manage integrated project plans, ensure integrations and dependencies are managed, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies.

Responsibilities

1. Planning:

Work with project team members, stakeholders and system implementor to define project scope, goals, benefits and deliverables

Define and create end-to-end project plans that include all technical and non-technical activities from initiation to project completion

Partner with the Product Manager and/or Business Leads to define success metrics and criteria

2. Delivery:

Lead the project implementation throughout all phases of the project life cycle, helping to navigate the team through the design, set-up, testing, and deployment of the SAP S/4HANA solution for Finance and Order to Cash processes.

Drive project delivery with a focus on timeliness, budget, scope, quality, and stability. Ensuring the technical delivery and intended business value is successfully achieved.

Evaluate trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.

Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities and ensure compliance with company project methodology standards.

Establish mechanisms for reporting and report project status against objectives and goals, escalate unresolved issues, and continually update relevant business stakeholders.

Assess and resolve high-priority project risks to ensure projects meet success parameters and ROI targets.

Ensure dependencies and integrations are correctly tracked and managed to ensure complete delivery of the project.

3. Risk and Issue Management:

Proactively identify delays, concerns, or risks within the projects and ensure that they are addressed accordingly.

Manage and coordinate risk management across the project ensuring risks are reported, escalated, mitigated, and closed correctly.

3. Communication & Collaboration:

Establish and manage dashboards and KPIs to drive transparency and aid decision-making (e.g., Cost, Usage, Performance, Scale, Errors)

Provide clear communication to cross-functional team leads and senior management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities

Collaborate with and support teams to build trust and deliver work effectively across business units

Coordinate and ensure collaboration between all project vendors to ensure successful delivery

Report weekly to provide real-time data on program and project delivery status to the executive leadership team

4. Management and Coordination

Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the project agreements and statement of work by maintaining a thorough understanding of the scope, budget, and expectations of the project.

Provide support to all project team members to ensure that the delivery of the project meets expectations.

Manage resource management including onboarding and offboarding for both internal staffing and vendor staffing

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor\'s degree in business, Technology, or related field.

Five to seven years of project management experience with experience of managing SAP projects

Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA ERP greenfield implementations.

Experience with managing end to end lifecycle of the project involving multiple implementation partners

Experience in managing and collaborating with technology and business stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Functional knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA modules, project delivery, and PMO governance best practices

Strong background in managing multiple vendors in complex projects

Familiarity of data standards and regulatory requirements preferred

Knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)

Advanced experience in managing projects in JIRA and PowerBI

Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management tools (Visio, MS Project, JIRA, Clarity)
