TITLE: Fabricator/Installer

ANNUAL PAY : 35-40K/year

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time; Permanent

SCHEDULE: We operate 5 days a week – YEAR-ROUND, depending upon the workload. Must be able and willing to work OUTDOORS, which means you will need to be able to work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, light rain, light snow, etc.) - REQUIRED (NOTE: Management will cancel/reschedule the job if weather is too extreme (ex: heavy rain, snow, overly extreme cold, etc.)

HOURS: Typical workday is 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Additional time, including occasional weekend work may be required. During peak business periods, compulsory overtime and/or weekend work may be required.

SUMMARY:

We are looking to make an addition to our team before the season ramps up in early Spring. We design, manufacture, deliver, install, customize, maintain, move, take-down, and complete jobs for our customers' backyard playground needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

You MUST be able to do/provide the following:

Under minimal supervision, perform daily task as instructed. Including cutting, drilling and routing of lumber, assembling panels, trusses, doors or any other fabricating and assembly duties associated with the construction of the Company’s products.

· Ability to work with hands, lift heavy objects (40 lbs.), and use power tools and hand tools - REQUIRED

· Knowledge of and experience operating power tools and hand tools

· Ability to operate air compressors, air tools, hammer, saws and other power tools

· Ability to read a tape measure, level, shop/working drawings and speed square – REQUIRED

· Ability to carry out instructions communicated in written, oral or diagram form

· Ability to take accurate measurements

· Ability to add and subtract in all units of standard U.S. measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals - Perform mathematical calculations necessary to understand and execute plans – REQUIRED

· Organized with strong attention to detail. Manage time effectively and efficiently

· Knowledge of general construction terms, processes, etc.- REQUIRED

· Previous construction-relation experience – PLUS

· Must be punctual and professional

· Must adhere to safe working practices – Ensure proper and regular use of personal protective gear and equipment

· Must be able to stand for 7 - 8 hours. Frequently walking, bending. Must be able to lift and/or move 40 pounds at least 100 feet.

· Strong problem-solving capabilities

· Team player with good communication skills and a “can-do” attitude - REQUIRED

· Must be able to read and speak English fluently for the purposes of interpreting technical instructions – REQUIRED (Spanish is a plus)

· Must be punctual and professional – Must be reliable - showing up on-time - REQUIRED

· Demonstrate the ability to communicate with personnel and customers both verbally and in writing

· Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate them to personnel and customers.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

· Valid Driver's License - PREFERRED

· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

· Advanced technical training - PREFERRED

· 2 – 3 years relevant work experience - PREFERRED

· Previous industry experience would be a major plus

· MUST be eligible to work in the US and pass background check

· Must be able to pass Medical Certification and Drug Test after position is offered
