Plastic Injection Mold Maker

Job Description

Overview: The Mold Maker is responsible for building, repairing and maintaining injection molds and to follow procedures and embrace new technologies!

Job Duties:

- construct new tooling from mechanical drawings and or CAD files

- troubleshoot to determine the cause of problems associated with injections molds and perform repairs as needed

- setting up machine tools and operate various tool room machines and equipment, making necessary computations

- work with molds, mechanical drawings or other written or verbal specifications

- perform mold changeovers

Job Requirements:

- 5 plus years of previous injection molding

- ability to read and understand difficult diagram readings

- analytical skills and mechanical aptitude

- PC experience

- self motivated and organized
