We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Savage Farms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting agricultural goods efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Duties

Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed and reefer trailers, to transport freight to designated locations.

Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts, as necessary.

Navigate routes effectively while maintaining timely deliveries.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, and mileage.

Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation.

Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.

Communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
