Forestry Technician and Climbing Arborist

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Forestry Technician and Climbing Arborist to join our small team! We carry out a variety of tree and forestry projects throughout boulder county and need some qualified help to complete these projects!

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years with in the forestry/ wildland fire fighting fields for the forestry technician position. Minimum 2 years climbing experience pruning and removing trees for the climbing arborist position

- Solid knowledge of chainsaws, forestry operations, driving heavy machinery, modern tree climbing and rigging techniques.

ISA certification a plus but not required. Must obtain ISA certification within the first 6 months of employment.

Full time, year round work with a fun crew. We value employees who have a willingness to grow and learn.

Compensation is depending on experience.
