Job Description
We're looking for a Sr Mechanical Engineer to help design and develop innovative medical devices from concept to launch. You'll collaborate across engineering to support product design, prototyping, testing, and validation. This role is hands-on, with a strong focus on mechanical design, vendor coordination, risk mitigation, and design for manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and refine mechanical components and assemblies
Develop CAD models, drawings, and test protocols
Perform validation and environmental testing
Work with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
4+ years in electro-mechanical product design for Medical device technology
SolidWorks proficiency
Experience with injection molding, metal forming, and automation design
Knowledge of FDA QSR and ISO 13485
Nice to Have:
Master’s degree
6+ years supporting 13485 regulations for medical device engineering
Background in electromechanical systems or robotics components for motion control
