Description
Develops scope of work for design and construction of multiple projects per NAVFAC standards. Coordinates with designed of every discipline to assure compliance with project objectives. Develops budgets at preliminary, intermediate, and final design state. Develop Preventative Maintenance Inspections plan from manufacturer’s recommendations. Ensures quality of work in progress at completion. Interprets, recommends, and complies with engineering regulations and company policies. Adheres to the direction of the Supervisor and provides information or reports when necessary. Identifies the needs and works within the existing structures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Develops and oversees subcontracted engineering projects. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills: Must possess a high school diploma, or equivalent. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience or equivalent. Must have a Bachelor of Science’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Must be able to adhere to direction of Supervisor and provide information or reports when needed. Must be able to identify the needs and work within the existing structures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Must have AutoCAD and Cost-estimating experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and estimating software. Desired: Professional Engineer (P.E.) and Project Management Experience. Knowledgeable of G-Net and MAXIMO.
