Fund Management Systems Product Owner (Hong Kong)

We are seeking a dynamic Product Owner – Fund Management Systems to drive innovation and efficiency across fund operations, investment reporting, and trading platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of fund management technology, ensuring seamless integration and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and communicate a clear product vision for fund management systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Own the roadmap and backlog for fund management solutions, prioritizing features based on impact and stakeholder needs.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across fund management, fund administration/transfer agency, investment reporting, sales and trading, custodial services, alternative investments, and portfolio management.

- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable user stories, ensuring seamless implementation and continuous product improvement.

- Lead cross-functional teams to design, configure, and optimize fund management platforms tailored to business needs.

- Provide subject matter expertise in fund operations and investment lifecycle processes, ensuring technology solutions drive efficiency and compliance.

- Partner with developers, vendors, and data specialists to ensure system integrations and data integrity across investment and fund management workflows.

- Conduct performance analysis and monitor system effectiveness, recommending enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

- Champion product adoption by developing training materials and leading change management initiatives.

- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in fund management technology to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Product Owner within the fund management or investment industry.

- Deep understanding of fund management systems and processes, including fund administration, trading, reporting, and custodial services.

- Strong knowledge of platforms such as Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, Charles River, or equivalent fund management technology.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating complex business and regulatory environments.

- Agile product management experience, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative development.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
