Head of Smart Contracts - Leading Global Web3 Firm (Singapore)

Our client, a leading global web3 firm, is looking for an experienced leader in smart contracts to join their web3 team.

Job Responsibilities:

Smart Contract Design and Development

- Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts using Solidity or other smart contract languages. Ensure that contract logic is secure and reliable.

- Capable of developing smart contracts across multiple heterogeneous blockchain ecosystems (including but not limited to EVM, Solana, and Move-based chains). Assist the team in building business capabilities within these ecosystems.

Team Collaboration

- Work closely with various business teams to tackle technical challenges related to smart contracts and cross-chain capabilities. Provide support to other business lines or developers in overcoming technical barriers.

Rapid Learning, Research, and Delivery

- Continuously stay updated on cutting-edge blockchain technologies and standards. Quickly grasp and master new tools and technologies, and regularly deliver accurate and high-quality insights or reports to the product and research teams.

Job Requirements:

Smart Contract Development Skills

- At least two years of hands-on experience in Solidity or other smart contract languages (such as Rust).

- Participation in full-cycle smart contract development on Ethereum, Solana, or other mainstream blockchain platforms.

- Familiar with smart contract security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices. Possess a strong security mindset, with the ability to thoroughly analyze security incidents and share knowledge within the team.

Understanding of Blockchain Ecosystems

- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cross-chain architecture, with in-depth knowledge of blockchain operational mechanisms.

- Deep familiarity with the implementation principles of mainstream DeFi projects, with the ability to conduct advanced research and share findings with the team.

Teamwork and Communication Skills

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working efficiently with team members.

- Solid documentation skills to clearly record design ideas and implementation details.

- Strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least three years of smart contract development experience (any language, including but not limited to Solidity, Rust, Move, FunC).

- At least 2 years of people management experience leading a team.

- Experience with large-scale project development or smart contract security. Able to provide open-source project links (e.g., GitHub or blockchain explorers).

- Original smart contract project development experience (not simple forks).
