METAL PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Monday - Thursday

6:30 am - 4:30 pm

Friday

6:30 am - 12:00 pm

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Use equipment such as press brakes and rollers to form and shape various thicknesses of plate.

Operator will use skills to determine best way to form and shape plate products per drawings.

Accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools (tri-square, framing square, etc).

Operate press brake (350 T/100 T) to bend and form various thickness and grades of metal.

Use plate rollers to form cylinders and/or cones.

Inspect and QC formed material for accuracy.

Able to work independently without supervision.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Adhere to safety protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Ability to look at and understand blueprints.

Experience with different grades of material, mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Knowledge in plate forming techniques.

Understanding of quality control.

Forklift experience a plus, but training provided.
