FLEXIBLE, HIGH-PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTANT

We’re an elite outsourced CFO practice supporting fast-moving clients in the insurance industry. Our clients rely on precision, speed, and accuracy—so we do too. We don’t do mediocrity, and we don’t settle for average. We’re looking for an A-player who can deliver high-quality accounting work efficiently in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES:

Speed & Accuracy – If you’re slow, hesitant, or clicking around instead of using shortcuts, this won’t be a fit. You must know your way around accounting systems and Excel inside and out.

Proactive Problem-Solving – We don’t micromanage. If you get stuck, you’re expected to ask questions fast, not waste hours spinning your wheels.

Commitment – We need a dedicated team member, not a freelancer looking to squeeze in work between other commitments.

Accountability & Follow-Through – Half-done work isn’t acceptable. If you take a task, you own it.

Tech Savviness – We run on Accounting Seed (Salesforce), Asana, and Excel. If new software intimidates you, this isn’t the role for you.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

Managing A/P, A/R, and reconciliations

Processing commission statements

Clearing bank feed transactions

Following up on incomplete tasks with urgency

Keeping your task list up to date in Asana

Communicating effectively and responding to emails within 24 hours

Spotting inefficiencies and improving processes

YOU’RE A FIT IF YOU:

Move fast and work smart. You use keyboard shortcuts, automate repetitive tasks, and hate inefficiency.

Are precise and detail-oriented. No sloppy work—every number must check out.

Don’t wait to be told what to do. You take ownership, find solutions, and get things done.

Thrive in structured processes but know when to adapt. You can follow SOPs and also suggest improvements when needed.

Have serious accounting chops. You either have a degree in accounting or at least 5+ years of real experience.

Are systems-minded and great with spreadsheets. Advanced Excel skills are a must.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU:

Have experience with Accounting Seed, NetSuite, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems

Have worked in insurance accounting and understand commissions
