Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Capital Plant Engineer to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing production processes, ensuring the efficiency of factory operations, and maintaining high standards of quality. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing facility operations.
Capital Plant Engineer Responsibilities:
Investigate plant infrastructure and manufacturing equipment issues and work with cross functional teams to coordinate solutions
Design and implement solutions for ongoing production issues and validate effectiveness
Create Engineering Notices to communicate new processes and proper operating procedures to plant personnel
Define new plant infrastructure and manufacturing equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment
Define new support equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment
Participate on new product launch process
Maintain effective working relationships within/between departments
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Plant Engineering
Capital Plant Engineer Qualifications :
4-year Engineering Degree
Strong understanding of plant infrastructure systems to include chilled water, compressed air, process water, process vacuum, electrical distribution, process water filtration, building and grounds.
Success in planning, executing and managing capital projects
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
CAD experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences.
Excellent problem solving abilities and mathematical aptitude.
Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
