Ascensus Specialties is a world class chemical manufacturing company looking to expand our Warehouse Team in Newburyport, MA. This position will carry out routine duties associated with the shipping and receiving of a variety of hazardous chemicals.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for physically pulling finished inventory from stock for shipment. Matches picking ticket with stock items and delivers to the Shipping Department.

Using information found on a picking ticket, processes boxes on a UPS World Ship system.

Opens daily receiving. Matches up purchase order number on vendor’s packing slip with our purchase order and verifies box contents.

Using information found on picking ticket, boxes up a variety of daily orders for shipment via UPS, Federal Express, and DHL.

Responsible for end of day cleanup. Duties include trash, emptying recycled cardboard, sweeping benches and floor, and restocking boxes, cans and bubble pack.

Performs other duties as assigned by the lead and supervisor.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in a warehouse or chemical manufacturing environment.

This position is eligible for a 4% bonus based on individual and company performance.
