You'll be responsible for:
Budgeting and forecasting for LATAM countries
Summarize budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executives
Prepare financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports
Leading the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the board.
Month end financial reporting for LATAM countries.
Analyse revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to optimize profitability and transparency.
Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems – while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
Implements financial and accounting best practices and oversees critical accounting procedures to ensure legal compliance with financial reporting and banking regulations at the local, state, and federal level.
Hires, onboards, trains, supervises, coaches, assesses, and provides performance feedback to finance team members.
Managing and controlling overhead spend against the budget.
Reviews and processes payments made to clients, vendors, and other business partners.
Maintains an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
Issue monthly reimbursable invoices to JV partners for expenses paid by Mace
Liaising with Project Managers on missing invoices, revenue forecasts etc.
Following up overdue debt with Project team
Calculation and Distribution of funds between JV partners
Post and Reconcile payroll for LATAM region
Run revaluations and Reconcile Forex differences
Co-ordinate with the legal representatives for signatures or local compliances
Notify and report to senior management concerning any trends that are critical to the organization's financial performance.
You’ll need to have:
Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Spanish (fluent) and English (proficient)
Experience around working for a global organisation ideally US or UK centric
Relevant experience in a previously held role of the same position
Experience of managing financial and accountancy systems
Understanding of payment systems and obligations in Peru
Chartered Accountant
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Be able to communicate efficiently – both written and verbally
Be able to work on own initiative
Be able to meet targets and handle a high-pressure environment
Be trustworthy and efficient
Be able to understand how a global group operates and have the ability to balance the Local requirements with wider commercial aspects

You'll also have:
