The Enterprise Architect is a pivotal role within Verinext, responsible for guiding our clients through complex transformations. Leveraging deep technical expertise across multiple subject matters across the datacenter and hybrid cloud systems, you will design, scope implementation, and optimize enterprise-scale solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
This role seeks an experienced professional who can logically analyze existing environments, identify gaps, and architect solutions that deliver on business goals. You will serve as an advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
Requirements
Lead technical discovery sessions to gather requirements and translate business needs into architectural solutions
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Verinext subject matter architects, vendor engineers, and client technologists to design integrated solutions
Effective at communicating complex technical concepts to technical leaders and non-technical business stakeholders and able to simplify how they achieve business goals
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and methodologies to provide forward-thinking recommendations that give clients competitive advantages
Develop comprehensive migration strategies and roadmaps tailored to clients' unique business requirements
Design disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability solutions leveraging cloud-native capabilities
Develop cost optimization strategies for private cloud economics and consumption-based models, presenting relevant findings present conversation with Lead Technologists and financial/business outcomes with business leaders
Align with Regional Sales Directors and Line of Business Leaders to be the technical leader in the region
Implement new technologies in lab environments to evaluate functional and performance capabilities
Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies, continuously updating your expertise
Contribute to Verinext's intellectual property by developing reusable architectures, methodologies, and building out new services for the service catalogJob Requirements
10+ years of solution architecture design and implementation experience across several of the following disciplines:
o Networking (WAN, Campus, and Data Center)
o Virtualization, Containers, and Automation
o Enterprise Compute, Storage and Data Protection and Governance
o Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
o IT Service Management
o Cloud Architecture (Public, Private, and Hybrid)
Demonstrated ability to identify gaps and develop solutions that achieve business, financial and technical goals
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and establish credibility
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor technical depth for appropriate audiences
Ability to travel to client sites as needed (Most activity will be in the Metro Atlanta Area)
Strong desire to work across multiple industry verticals and multi-vendor solutions/technology disciplinesPreferred Qualifications
Extended experience working as a contributor and rising to cross discipline team leader or architect in a corporate IT environment is desirable
Certifications across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with Hybrid/multi-cloud management and governance frameworks
Background in enterprise architecture methodologies
Knowledge of DevOps practices and abilities
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (automated private cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) with certifications in at least one major cloud provider highly desirable
Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, DevOps methodologies, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code
