About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking two Sr. Systems Administrators – Linux to support a high-impact program at JBSA Lackland in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on maintaining, configuring, and enhancing both Linux and Windows systems to ensure secure and efficient IT operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues, optimizing network infrastructure, and improving overall system performance within a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, manage, and optimize Linux/RedHat and Windows operating systems

Install and maintain system software and applications

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

Monitor system performance and ensure system integrity

Support day-to-day IT operations and Tier 1/Tier 2 issue resolution

Implement system enhancements to boost reliability and performance

Provide technical support for client/server/storage/network systems and mobile devices

Qualifications & Requirements

U.S. Citizenship Required

️ Active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph Clearance Required

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution

Minimum of 10 years of systems administration experience (5 years additional experience may substitute for degree)

Experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity

Technical Skills:

IAT Level I Certification Required

Proficiency in Linux/RedHat and VMWare technologies

Experience with troubleshooting, configuration, and system integration
