Responsibilities:
Perform Operation & Maintenance activities in support of our Groundwater Treatment Plant and related area sites.
Responsible for diagnosing equipment and system operations problems, performing necessary corrective action (pump repair, cleaning, lancing conveyance, piping replacement, equipment troubleshooting, etc.), and providing solutions to complex challenges that may arise.
Perform regular site inspections and verify systems are operating appropriately.
Communicates system deficiencies with team and field leaders to navigate solution.
Collects and documents field data.
Other responsibilities may also include construction equipment operation, exterior building and grounds maintenance, etc., as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would be qualified and experienced in basic water treatment plant operations and maintenance, underground line cleaning, and data collection & recordkeeping. They would also have solid mechanical skills, with the ability to work independently on pumps, plumbing, and motors including cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair. Training can be provided to less experienced candidates with other skills and a positive work ethic. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds are required. Minimum education required is a High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license required.
