Salary: up to $30 per hour DOE

Job Summary

B&F Contracting is seeking a skilled and experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized equipment to safely excavate and expose underground utilities and pipelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate soil and debris - Dig trenches, pits, and other areas as required for construction projects in a variety of working environments, including confined spaces

Transport equipment to job sites

Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on the hydrovac equipment

Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards

Work variable shifts which may include extended hours

Requirements

2 years experience with Hydro Excavation, Culvert Cleaning, and Sewer Pipeline Cleaning

Valid CDL- A driver license with Tanker Endorsement and safe driving record

Must be able to lift, push, pull 50-75 pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions

Adept with technology

Strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
