Let Encadria help get you there! Encadria Staffing Solutions has a temporary (2 Months) opportunity for a General Helper with Georgia Pacific Rocky Creek location. SHIFT: Days A Day in the Life Typically Includes: Various manual labor jobs supporting housekeeping and operations in the mill. Strong regard for personal safety and the safety of others. Maintaining high standards for work ethic and respect for other. Learning various work processes to understand how they lead to increased productivity and reduced waste of useable product. What do you need? Basic Qualifications: Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for at least ten (10) hours a day Willing and able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs. Willing and able to change shifts when given short notice, (e.g., one day s notice) Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e., hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs) Willing and able to work any shift including holidays, weekends and overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications: Work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, farming, carpentry, construction, landscaping, production, or military environment Experience in lumber or wood products We are an equal opportunity employer.
