Senior HR Representative

Location: Iasi, Romania

We are seeking a new team member to join our exceptional HR team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Personnel and Payroll Administration in accordance with Ecolab's collective labour agreement and the Labour Code regulations for Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia. Additionally, this role includes monitoring, updating, and reporting on HR systems.

You will be integral to the daily administration of HR policies and programs, covering a range of functions such as compensation and benefits, training, employee and labour relations, safety, and personnel research.

What You Will Do:

Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, holidays, and leaves.

Oversee payroll activities for the countries in scope and supervise and collaborate with payroll providers in each country. Issue payroll periodically in line with collective agreements and regulations.

Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, hiring, contracts, promotions, pay changes, disciplinary actions, and exits

Ensure accuracy in personnel administration activities like hiring, termination, and reporting.

Manage relationships with welfare and social security institutions regarding labour administrative issues.

Update and maintain data and reports related to employee benefits (e.g., Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Meal Vouchers).

Offer counselling to associates on rules, policies, benefits, vacation rights, and the Ecolab Collective Work Agreement.

Provide HR generalist consultation to associates and managers, also addressing employee inquiries related to personnel administration

Maintain and update employee files.

Provide human resource generalist consultation to associates and managers

Support actions of the wider HR team including related projects and regional HR initiatives.

What are the requirements?

A suitable level of education, such as a university degree (BA or BS) or equivalent relevant experience.

Proven experience in Personnel Administration and Payroll.

Strong skills in planning, organization, communication, and problem-solving.

Solid technical knowledge of Personnel Administration, Labour Code, and Revisal.

Proficiency in HR data literacy, including familiarity with PC and HR systems like MS Office, SAP, Workday, and Service Now.

Intermediate level English language skills (B2).

Exhibits integrity, reliability, and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Demonstrated relationship management and consultative aptitude.

Self-motivated with effective organizational/time management skills.

Capability to work independently.
