The Area Manager is responsible for providing first-class service to our current and future clients which includes operations, maintaining budgets, and possibly developing new business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Traveling and managing all aspects of your assigned area/territory.
Supervise and direct operation activities.
Establish and manage operational policies, objectives, and initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness and mitigate risks.
Provide leadership to the managers and/or supervisors in your area.
Ability to think outside the box and respond quickly to issues to prevent escalation.
Maintain payroll records.
Create estimates and workload bids, if possible.
Ensure quality control expectations are met and exceed Midway standards.
Ability to discipline an employee, while following company policy guidelines.
Order and maintain control of your inventory and supplies.
Train or assist in training new and existing employees on proper cleaning, in your area/territory. Requirements include:
Minimum of 2 years managing in the service (janitorial) industry.
Must have a working knowledge of MS Suite.
The assigned area could be an office building, warehouse, school, university, or other facility.
Have the ability to demonstrate expertise in the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must have the ability to lead people and obtain results.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to multitask is a must.
