We’re looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting automated manufacturing lines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with control systems and hardware.
What You’ll Do:
Control Systems Support: Provide expert troubleshooting for automated manufacturing lines.
Electrical & Hardware Troubleshooting: Work directly with OEMs to resolve control system issues.
Mentor Junior Engineers/Technicians: Share your expertise in troubleshooting and control systems.
Create Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical manuals, training documents, and troubleshooting guides for automated cells.
Analyze Electro-Mechanical Components: Assess the impact of wear and product defects on systems like servo motors, air cylinders, etc.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and work on continuous improvement projects.
Integrate New Devices: Lead the integration of new controls devices into existing systems.
Collaborate: Work closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to drive operational improvements.
Experience & Skills:
5+ years in control systems engineering, ideally within automated manufacturing environments.
Proficiency with Allen Bradley Studio 5000, FactoryTalk ME/SE, and Siemens PLC programming.
Experience with Safety PLCs, motion control, and safety circuits.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (480V 3-phase and 24V control circuits).
Experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
Knowledge of OT networks (Ethernet, IOLink, DeviceNet).
Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
