Responsibilities

The position is for a cost controller at our plant located in La Selva del Camp (Tarragona). The role involves tracking and analyzing all plant costs, preparing financial forecasts, analyzing variances, inventory control, and being a key support for management decision-making.

Calculation of production costs by line and product.

Control and monitoring of plant costs. Variance analysis.

Valuation and internal control of inventories (rotation, obsolete items, blocked material…)

Profitability studies by products, customers, and production lines.

Calculation and maintenance of standard costs.

Monthly financial closing and periodic reporting to the Group.

Monthly projections of results (forecast) and preparation of the annual budget.

Product pricing for the sales department.

Collaboration in the annual financial audit. Inventories.

Qualifications

Education (Degree/Major)

Bachelor's degree in Economics or similar studies.

Certifications

Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position (industrial company).

Language

High level of English, Spanish.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and coordination ability.

Extensive knowledge of analytical and financial accounting, as well as understanding and control of the company's accounting processes.

Expert user of Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of ERP Oracle and data processing (PowerBI) is valued.

High degree of initiative, planning, and organizational skills.

Service-oriented towards internal clients.

Teamwork. Ability to interact with various company stakeholders.
