DevOps Engineer (Networking )

As a DevOps Engineer( Networking ) you will be a part of the Sofia team you will work with our global operations, engineers and architects. You will manage our hybrid infrastructure in the cloud as well as a footprint of over 2000 servers and related resources across our data center, CDNs, cloud services, and troubleshoot user-impacting issues with third parties.

Responsibilities:

·Track and report major service outages and other service-affecting activities.

·You will be part of an on-call rotation schedule.

·Maintain network resources in various environments (Datacenters, CDN, Cloud) and network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi APs, etc.

·Maintain and scale infrastructure consisting of compute, storage and networking resources within our data-center and in the cloud.

·Implement and maintain (non-)containerized services on bare metal and in the cloud.

·Build CI/CD services for internal teams using tools like TeamCity, ArgoCD and python/shell scripts.

·Design and build robust log monitoring, infrastructure alerting, and performance reporting using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

·Actively participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, etc.

·In-depth experience of TCP/IP networking including routing (BGP, OSPF), VPN, Load Balancing, LACP/MLAG, packet capture/analysis, Cloud Networking, etc.

·Understanding of network operating systems (Arista EOS/Cisco IOS, RouterOS, JUNOS).

·Experience with troubleshooting and infrastructure monitoring experience.

·Sound knowledge of Linux, in particular CentOS/AlmaLinux.

·End-to-end performance and end-user experience monitoring.

·Strong Communication & Collaboration skills.

·Strong analytical and problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership.

·Experience with on-call shifts during (including weekends).

·

Nice-to-have:

·Network certification similar to CCNP/CCIE/JNCIP/JNCIE/NRS II

·Experience with hardware maintenance and software fine-tune based on the underlying hardware.

·Experience with containerization and cloud including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, etc.

·Experience with different configuration and provisioning tools like Chef, Terraform/Crossplane, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.

·Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/TeamCity and coding/scripting skills with Bash, Python, etc.
