Diesel Equipment Parts Specialist
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Diesel Equipment Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the parts counter, assisting customers with their parts needs, and ensuring efficient operations within the parts department.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts for on-highway diesel trucks, off-highway, and mining equipment.
Utilize computerized inventory systems to locate parts and verify availability.
Accurately process parts orders, including invoicing and payment collection.
Enter and retrieve customer orders from stock.
Maintain a clean and organized parts counter and workspace.
Assist with receiving and stocking parts shipments.
Drive to local vendors to pick up parts and materials as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or retail, preferably in automotive or heavy-duty equipment parts sales.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Self-motivated with a consistent record of punctuality and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with diesel equipment parts and industry terminology.
Experience using inventory management systems.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
