Cash Application Analyst

Job Description

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Cash Application Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Cash Application Analyst, you will play a vital role in verifying data accuracy, processing customer credit applications, and maintaining precise customer records. You will also be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, monitoring customer accounts, and taking appropriate actions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various analytical skills to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data.

• Process a significant volume of incoming cases daily, ensuring timely and accurate application details.

• Act proactively to anticipate and address potential problems early.

• Conduct extensive research and reconciliation for previous UAC Cases as per the UAC Working File.

• Extract data from customer portals and match to Open Invoices Aging using VLOOKUP's.

• Address payment issues such as double payments or lack of remittance.

• Handle multiple projects/functions in a high-pressure work environment.

• Interpret customer remittance and backup.

• Fully understand and resolve issues related to the JDE Auto match Process.

• Work on UAC Cases daily, ensuring all cases received during the month are processed within the same month.

• Participate in team projects, including root cause analysis, process mapping, intergroup process streamlining, etc.

• Review adjustments submitted by customer service for accuracy and completeness before entering in the system.

• Maintain a strong attention to detail and conduct heavy research and reconciliation.

• Follow and understand established procedures.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Cash Application Analyst.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must.

• Experience with CRM systems is necessary.

• Knowledge and usage of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Proven experience with ERP Solutions is required.

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed.

• Capable of managing Billing Functions efficiently.

• Demonstrable experience in handling Cash Activity.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
