As a Scrum Master, you will guide Agile ways of working across multiple teams and levels of the organization. You’ll coach teams, leaders, and stakeholders to strengthen Agile practices, improve delivery outcomes, and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a key part in aligning team efforts with business goals, mentoring Agile practitioners, and shaping how Agile principles are applied at scale.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with Business Stakeholders, Product and R&D leaders, and executive leadership to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned and delivered in support of business objectives.
Facilitate Agile planning and coordination ceremonies across teams, such as PI Planning and cross-team syncs, to drive alignment on shared goals and priorities.
Mentor and coach Scrum Masters, Product and R&D leaders, and other key stakeholders on Agile principles and practices to promote continuous improvement across the organization.
Identify and address systemic impediments that span teams and functions, enabling smooth execution and value delivery at scale.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Portfolio/Program Managers to shape and maintain roadmaps that align with business strategy and evolving customer needs.
Leverage Agile metrics and insights to guide performance improvements, support data-informed decision-making, and align execution with strategic outcomes.
Champion Agile ways of working and act as a change agent in cultivating a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and customer-centricity.
Promote the adoption of Agile engineering and DevOps practices (e.g., TDD, BDD, CI/CD) to improve quality, delivery speed, and responsiveness to feedback.
Facilitate team and leadership retrospectives and continuous learning opportunities to enhance delivery outcomes and strengthen Agile maturity.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Agile project and program delivery, with a strong track record of scaling Agile practices across multiple teams and departments.
Agile and/or enterprise Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, A-CSM, SAFe, ICP-ACC, or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience coaching teams, leaders, and executives through Agile transformations and cultural change.
Proven ability to manage complex value streams, navigate cross-team dependencies, and drive organizational alignment.
Deep understanding of Agile and Lean principles, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
Proficiency in Agile lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar platforms.
Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and shape strategic direction.
