Insurance Verification Specialist / Weekdays

We are partnering with a reputable healthcare organization to add a detail-oriented Insurance Verification Specialist to their team.

This role involves verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits before procedures to prevent claim denials. Responsibilities include confirming eligibility, authorizations, and financial estimates, as well as communicating with patients about coverage, deductibles, and co-pays. Additional related duties may be assigned.

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience, with excellent benefits!

Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM â 4:00 PM

Location: Brighton, NY

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associateâ s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in insurance verification, medical front office, or medical billingâ preferably in a surgical or ASC setting.

Familiarity with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.

Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, pre-authorization processes, and medical billing workflows.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when speaking with patients and insurance carriers.
