Title: Research Associate - Protein Purification

Role
We are seeking a Research Associate with experience in protein purification to join our team. This role will support Adimab's novel antibody discovery, maturation, and production platform and closely interface with the Antibody Engineering, Protein Analytics, Molecular Core, and Mammalian Protein Production teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct primary purifications of proteins expressed in HEK and CHO cells at various scales (24-well plates to large shake flasks) using automated liquid handlers
Perform secondary purifications of antibodies and antigens using standard chromatography systems at a preparative scale
Formulation of buffers associated with purification methods and resin regeneration
Prepare protein for delivery to end users including buffer exchange, concentration and normalization
Assist in tech development projects to further optimize and expand our protein purification platform
Contribute to general upkeep of the labNeeded upon hire
B.S. or M.S. in biology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering with 1+ years wet bench experience, preferably in the biotechnology industry
Desire to meticulously execute bench work
General understanding of the theory and application of protein purification techniques
Curiosity and passion for science demonstrated by reading scientific literature
Track record of communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisor
Adaptable and productive in a fast-paced environment
Industry experience and proficiency with liquid handlers and chromatography systems preferred
