NP/PA - Trauma Surgery Columbus

Mount Carmel East is looking for additional APP providers for the Trauma Dept. Willing to accept NP or PA.

Hospital-based - Level 2 Adult Trauma Center

Inpatient

EMR: Epic

APPs not utilized in OR as the first assist

Will be working autonomously, but attending trauma surgeons in-house 24/7 and always available if needed

Must have experience working on trauma service with trauma surgeons as an admitting service, not just ED. They need critical care experience, too. Although not operating, they still need to have experience working on trauma service line, not just exposure in ED or managing critical care from a medical standpoint. Will not function in an OR as First Assist.

All ages through ED as trauma alerts; only admit 16 and older; peds are transferred out

Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days

Willing to pay for all travel, local/drive-in candidates given priority

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified - Required

Active OH license - Required

BLS, ACLS, ATLS - Required

FCCS - Highly Preferred

Experienced in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care, no new grads - Required
