Position : Mechanical Engineer[Graphic Design]

Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ

Duration : 6+ months contract

Total Hours/week : 37.50.00 [1st Shift]

Description:

Responsibility:

Responsible for implementation of design and copy changes directed by the MPS Packaging Team via the Labeling Change Request Form, making sure they are within Client’s Corporate Identity Guidelines.

packaging graphic drawing revisions

creation of product illustrations

file collecting

creating PDFs

excellent communication and team collaboration skills

ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment

assists in implementing consistency across all levels of packaging within corporate identity guidelines

Qualifications Required:

BS, BA, BFA degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and 2-4 years graphic design-related experience working on MAC and PC platforms.

Proficient in Adobe CS6 and above:

Illustrator

InDesign

Photoshop

Acrobat

Proficient in Microsoft Programs 2010:

Word

Excel

Power point

Knowledge of printing process including all associated prepress work and file preparation.

Position requires a detail oriented person with strong people skills and the ability to multi-task. Previous experience working for a medical company a plus.
