Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

To provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and GI Endoscopy procedures at the fast-paced Surgery Center of Cullman. There are only 4 operating rooms and 3 GI Endoscopy rooms currently staffed with one anesthesiologist and 3 CRNAs. No holidays or weekends. There will be times when this position will be needed at the Cullman Regional Hospital and not just at the Surgery Center of Cullman. They are located only one mile apart.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required. Work experience may not substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association required. Currently certified with Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required. Currently certified with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association required.
