Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The nursing staff with National Youth Advocate Program work as part of an integral service team. Our Licensed Practical Nursesprovide medical management assistance to the clients served through NYAP including performing assessments, check-ins, professionalcollaboration and assisting in treatment planning to promote positive client outcomes.
Under the general supervision of the Regional Manager or designee, you will work closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing health care, advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.
Pay: $25-26/hour
Phone reimbursement: $50 per month when using your personal device.

• Perform physical assessments and chart vitals on each client.
• Identify abnormal findings and notify the client's physician or consulting physicians.
• Assure the need for medical treatment for illnesses are being met.
• Assess minor illnesses and administer non-prescription medications per approved Standing Orders Policy.
• Schedule and coordinate examinations by the consulting physician for each client.
• Maintain Red Cross CPR/First Aid Trainer's Certification.
• Available Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8:45 AM- 4:45 PM
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be a Licensed PracticalNurse with valid Ohio LPN- MEDS IV licensure.
• Nursing experience working with adolescents is preferred.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.
• Ability to work well in fast paced environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
• Must be able to maintain compliance with attending agency required training programs.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
Valid driver's license
Reliable personal transportation
Good driving record
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
