Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer proficient in SolidWorks Electrical design and implementation of industrial control panels for the manufacturing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical schematics using SolidWorks Electrical and other CAD tools.
design and implement industrial control panels
Create detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and circuit designs for electrical systems.
Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall system architecture.
Perform electrical calculations, including load analysis and voltage drop calculations.
Select appropriate electrical components, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Troubleshoot and optimize electrical designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and documentation for production and assembly teams.
Conduct design reviews and assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
Support manufacturing, assembly, and field teams by providing technical guidance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical and experience creating electrical schematics.
Strong knowledge of electrical components, circuit design, and control systems.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL).
Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and automation systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.Company Description
