Sr. Project Controller

Summary: The main function of this role is as an expert scheduling and financial controller in support of multiple projects. (All current controllers on this team do a lot of heavy financial work).

CBU needs a very senior controller with a strong background managing project financials. They will be working in an Agile/SAFe environment taking on the financial responsibilities for 3-5 projects. These are all Upstream application development projects. they will report to the PMO Lead for MCBU.

This person needs to have minimum 8, but ideally 10+ years of Project Controller experience with experience supporting major captital project/programs anywhere from $10MM to $100MM+ (the bigger, the better). Needs enterprise level experience. Oil & Gas is a plus, but not required.

TOP 3-5 Required Skills:

-8-10 years' of experience within the Project Controller/Project Manager/Financial capacity

-Microsoft Project

-Financial acumen in CAPEX vs OPEX rules

Nice to Have: IT Infrastructure or applications project experience

Job Responsibilities: * Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. - Accountable for maintaining updates and accuracy of project execution plans in Microsoft project across multiple projects - Financial analysis and monitoring - Maintain accuracy of Microsoft PPM entries and executive reporting - Primary interface between central PMO and project teams * Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures. * Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates. Additional Skills: - Experienced in Microsoft PPM - Skilled in financial analysis * Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. * Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time. * Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. * Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience: * Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

*PMI or PMP certification preferred.
