The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage Clients and their business with our client. As a part of this management, they are responsible for providing a business point of contact for the client. They report to the Sales Manager. Account Managers will ensure company policy and procedures are followed and maintained.
Responsibilities:
Client Retention and Client Satisfaction
The trusted advisor to the client about all business IT needs and the client advocate
Manages our relationship with assigned clients and to that end, prepares for QBRs, lead QBRs, and ensures all action items generated from QBRs are logged in the PSA, assigned, and followed up on
Works with the Service Manager in the assignment of technical follow up items
Considers each client, make recommendations, document recommendations in QBR platform, and present these for budget approval
Be alert to areas of opportunity for each client
Works effectively with the Project Coordinator and makes themselves available when needed
Preparation of proposals and acceptance of orders from clients
Procurement of product and software
Maintain proper margin on products ordered
Ensure orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner 100% of the time
Create/review monthly billing reports to ensure clients are being billed correctly
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Sales background preferred
Drive to keep up on current and future technologies on a broad level
Preferred business experience and acumen
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Enjoys helping people to the extent that no problem is considered mundane, no matter how simple the solution
Enjoys sharing information, supporting others, and working on a team to achieve team goals
Skill in preparing written communications and materials
