JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department: Radiology

Shift Timings: 22:00 -08:30 Hours. Monday to friday 10 hours/4 days.

Per week: 40 Hours

Rotation/1st Sun, Tus, Wed, Thu,/ 2nd Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat /3rd Sun, Wed, Thu, Sat

Roles & Responsibilities

Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.

Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.

Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.

Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.

Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.

Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.

Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.

Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.

Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment. QUALIFICATIONS

BLS and ACLS

National Institutes of Health (NIH)

Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

The ability to stand for extended periods.

Strong technical skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology

Passionate about patient care

Requires a minimum of two years of current Radiology Tech experience.

Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech program

Active unencumbered and Radiology Tech Ohio state license

One year of Cerner experience

ARRT Certification Requirements

• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
