We have an opening for a Laboratory Test Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and validate testing systems and fixtures.

Perform ongoing monitoring of testing systems through Uncertainty Measurements.

Provide Technical Consulting to a staff of Laboratory Technicians.

Conduct inspection of electronic components using Optical Microscopes and Scanning Electron Microscopes.

Perform Elemental Analysis using Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS).

Perform X-ray and CT analysis and inspection.

Prepare and review test reports.

Develop and apply Failure Analysis skills to determine failure modes and if possible, root causes of suspect electronic components.

Uphold the requirements and principles of ISO-17025.

Job Requirements:

Excellent technical writing skills are required; technical writing experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.

Ability to handle extremely small electronic components required.

Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize multiple tasks required.

Scanning Electron Microscopy / Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM/EDS) experience is highly preferred but not required.

X-Ray / CT Analysis experience is highly preferred but not required.

Strong Soldering Skills are preferred.

A four-year technical degree is required, an engineering degree preferred.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Experience with ISO-17025 is highly preferred.

Experience with Altium Designer and Solidworks is highly preferred
