Position: Calibration Technician
Location: Machesney Park, IL
Education & Experience: Minimum high school graduate or equivalent. The level of experience and additional education will determine the skill level and responsibilities of the technician. Entry level technicians must display good math skills and interpersonal relationships. The skills inventory will determine the level of responsibility given to the technician. Industrial inspection / QC experience will advance the technicians degree of responsibility. Idea additional education is Technical / Junior College courses and seminars.
Reporting Relationships: Reporting to the Technical Manager for internal production direction, the Field Service Manager for external production/process direction and the Technical Manager for internal process direction.
Scope of Responsibility: Calibration Technician is the title used for lab assignments and Field Service Technician is the title used for on-site assignments. The positions are interchangeable based on skill level. The scope of responsibility is the calibration of equipment on the skills inventory.
Other Requirements: Must be able to lift 70lbs. Must have valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
