Accelerated District Manager Rotational MAX Program
Take 5 Oil Change has an opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and join our growing team! Take 5 Oil Change has a new opportunity for eager college graduates, newly exiting military, or military veterans seeking to accelerate their career into a leadership role. Our MAX (Manager Accelerated Experience) Program aims to accelerate your career growth in one year, taking you from a Shop Manager to a District Manager with a series of hands-on training experiences to prepare you to run your own Take 5 Oil Change District.
This year-long development and training program begins as a Shop Manager with an intensive training program, learning the foundational, functional, and leadership skills required to run a shop, with the goal to graduate from the Program and be promoted to a District Manager.
As a Take 5 Oil Change Shop Manager you will be responsible for:
Day-to-day operations of a Take 5 Oil Change Shop:
Staff Management: Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new crew members; Supervising employees and responsible for creating crew schedules & submitting payroll.
Inventory Management: Controlling inventory with quarterly and yearly inventory counts; Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory.
Sales & Financial Goals: Understanding the shop's financials and KPIs to drive results and utilize budget wisely
People Management: Conducting quarterly employee evaluations.
Store Operations: Opening and closing the shop, Supporting crew members with daily duties; Draining motor oil, changing oil filters, and performing other auto services.
Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service. As a Take 5 Oil Change District Manager you will be responsible for:
Managing Operations: Managing and overseeing multiple locations within the designated district; Monitoring and analyzing financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to increase profitability.
Staff Management: Managing Labor & Demand by ensuring all locations are staffed with competent and well-trained employees who deliver exceptional customer service
Operational Excellence: Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in service quality and operational efficiency.
Compliance: Conducting regular audits of location operations to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures; Ensuring all locations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations governing the industry.
Business Strategy: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase customer traffic and revenue growth.
People Management: Providing leadership and mentorship to location managers and staff to promote a positive work environment and foster employee development. MAX Program Overview:
Driven Brands' MAX Program offers candidates the ability to gain experience, mentorship from leadership, professional development and career growth while continuing to be primarily focused on managing a particular Shop. The year-long program is designed across four phases, ranging from onboarding, development workshops, job shadowing and hands-on learning experiences. Your two-week onboarding will begin in Charlotte, NC for you to learn about Driven Brands and enhance your Business Acumen and Leadership skills. You will return to your Shop, where you will continue your hands-on learning of managing day-to-day operations, people management and customer service. Once Phase 2 is completed, you will begin your journey to becoming a District Manager. Phase four will provide you the opportunity to continue to excel as a Shop Manager while participating in hands-on learning experiences managing your own mini-district. Finally, after the successful completion of all four phases, you will be provided with an opportunity to work as a District Manager for a larger territory, where you will continue your professional development journey.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree OR newly exiting Military or Military Veterans.
Minimum of 6 months' experience in one of the following:
Sales & Customer Service: commission sales, hospitality, retail
Leadership: military, athletics/team activities, or community, social or academic organizations
Ability to relocate once the program has completed for your assigned Take 5 Oil Change district. Relocation assistance will be provided.
Ability to travel within the district and occasionally outside of the district as needed. Overnight travel may be required. Travel is reimbursed.
Must be local to Houston, TX, Tampa, FL, or Orlando, FL
Must have a valid US Driver's license
Have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications or Experience:
Experience using data to analyze business finances and trends then enacting action plans.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements
Must be willing to:
Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit to position yourself safely under cars.
Walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning. Work Environment
May include irregular hours, weekends and holidays. Required to work 55 hours per week

Competitive Compensation: this position offers targeted 1st year annual compensation of $60,000 as a Shop Manager.
