CMP Global Inc., a producer of the highest quality sacrificial anodes for the marine industry is seeking a Shipper & Receiver to join the team. The Shipper/Receiver reports to and follows the instructions given by the OPS Supervisor within CMP Global Inc., also conducts all duties associated with Shipping and Receiving goods in a SAFE and efficient manner.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure all goods are received as per PO
Ensure all goods are scanned/picked as per Customer Pick List.
Work with Quality Control to ensure all goods shipped are to the ordered specification and printing shipping labels
Ensure each order is inspected for accuracy and bill of ladings are complete and match each shipment when loading/offloading trucks
Performing cycle counts
Loading and unloading trucks, including de-stuffing floor loaded ocean freight or hand loading customer orders
Daily forklift inspections and weekly battery maintenance
Ensures all shipments are packed safely, neatly, and will arrive at their destination intact and on time
Effectively manage space and material flow to meet company objectives of timely delivery of product
Able to pick orders without supervision
Receive incoming packages, perform inspections of goods received and route material to correct department.
Conduct inspections and execute red tag/quarantine process
Complete customs paperwork and ship packages domestically and internationally
Sufficient knowledge of products manufactured by the company to identify non-conforming product.
Knowledge of quality control processes, SOPs and work instructions related to Shipping/Receiving.
Knowledge of local carriers and routings.
Good mathematical skills and record keeping.
Full understanding of computers. (Visual ERP System Competent).
RF scanning, reading and filling out pick lists with necessary counts and shipment specs.
Maintain daily housekeeping responsibilities.
Sounds knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
Perform other job duties, as needed
Requirements:
3 years of experience as a Shipper/Receiver in a manufacturing environment
3 years of lift truck forklift experience
Experience in using an RF scanner
ERP experience
Valid lift truck certification for order pickers, forklift and turret trucks (asset) or able to be certified
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and with tight deadlines
Basic computer application skills
Good mathematical and record keeping skills

2nd Shift - 09:30 AM – 18:00 PM
