Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager II to join our team and contribute to special projects for a global, large-scale organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting with projects related to impact ingredients, packaging, and manufacturing sites. This role requires a strong project management background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage timelines and deliverables. This role will be 100% On-site in Columbus, OH, and the interview will also be conducted on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and direct the activities and personnel associated with small to large-scale projects, focusing on non-IT business applications and disciplines.
Assist with special projects related to impact ingredients, packaging, and manufacturing sites.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines.
Ensure timely and accurate project reporting.
Facilitate project meetings and manage action items.
Collaborate with project sponsors, business units, and users to define project scope and focus.
Implement project requirements, plans, processes, and tools.
Assign, guide, and monitor project staff.
Ensure project success by delivering quality solutions within defined budgets and timelines.
Provide expert project guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide tracking, reporting, and presentations to management and users.
Skills & Experience
7+ years of project management experience.
Strong project planning and scheduling abilities.
Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt to changing project scopes and timelines.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of regulatory requirements.
Packaging background (preferred).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
