Supplier Quality Engineer (1171149)

Establish quality control requirements with suppliers for the battery production process. Conduct investigations within production process to identify material root cause. Monitor quality performance of raw materials upon receipt and within process. Provide feedback to suppliers to ensure consistency, quality, and delivery of raw materials. Follow up with suppliers to implement corrective actions and ensure closure of non-conforming issues. Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement initiatives. Conduct supplier process and performance audits. Communicate with multiple departments (procurement, production, engineering, etc.) to complete material related projects.

HOURS: 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS: a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related degree discipline followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the specialty field.
