THIS POSITION IS ELIGILBE FOR A $1500 SIGN-ON BONUS!
The Maintenance Mechanics perform a large variety of predictive, preventative, and routine maintenance duties in a temperature controlled building.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES; Other duties may be assigned.
Runs or observes all basic machine shop equipment to diagnose problems and makes repairs.
Performs PMs on equipment.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
Plans, organizes and formulates operations to support electrical panel builds giving input on controls, I/O, and panel layout.
Provides insight to the engineering group for the design, structure, and implementation of automation projects.
Repairs electrical equipment.
Maintains clean workplace. Cleans up after repairs in the workplace.
Adheres to all established safety standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Participates with Project Improvement Team.
Welds and fabricates as needed to repair or create equipment or workstation elements.
Installs complex machinery and equipment, precision align machinery, lathe, mills, and presses.
Performs inspections as required.
Utilizes overhead lift to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Utilizes lockout/tag out procedures and ARC flash.
Provides daily shift report.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of two years of experience (Preferred)
Knowledge of Machine Repair, PLCs, automation, robotics.
A team player with a customer service and safety mentality with the ability to collaborate with others.
An individual with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work to a timeline.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment with minimal direct supervision.
