Job Description

Position: Maintenance Technician

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspection and repair of equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.

Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Experience and Qualifications:

Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC/R systems, air conditioning, and appliance repair is required.

Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics.

Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.

Leadership skills to manage maintenance projects and coordinate with team members.

Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
