ICU Registrar (With Anaesthetics)

The Position

Our client has vacancies for Registrars and Senior Registrars.

The Registrar positions are suitable for both junior trainees in intensive care, more experienced ICU registrars as well as post-primary CICM trainees and those seeking to sit CICM fellowship exam in the next 2 years.

The Senior Registrar position includes ‘first on-call’ after hours from home, supported by a Consultant.

The Hospital

This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.

The Requirements

Either hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA

For on shore doctors have at least 6 months ICU experience

For overseas doctors have at least 48 months ICU experience
