Opening: Physician Specialty: Palliative Medicine Position Type: Locum Tenens Facility: Hospital Location: near Sacramento, California Start Date: ASAP, privileges average 60-90 days Length: 6-12 months, ongoing Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Details: Hospital has 530 beds No call requirements EMR used is Epic Patient demographic: Advanced Illness, End of Life Care Number of patients per shift: 10-15 patients per shift Department Structure/Schedule: Morning Huddle 9:15-10:00 daily Support Staff: 3 FTE Physician, 4 FTE RN, 1 FTE Chaplain, 1 FTE LCSW Must have experience in Goals of Care discussions, Pain and Symptom management, working with an interdisciplinary team, Consult only; no admissions Credentials: Active California medical license.

CA DEA.

Must be board certified in Palliative Care.
