MONDAY TO SUNDAY OPERATION

SHIFT LENGTHS UP TO 12 HOURS

DAYS: 04:00 - 07:00 START TIMES

NIGHTS: 15:00 - 17:00 START TIMES

£16.00 - £19.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to work with our well-established client based in Doncaster.

We are looking for drivers to be flexible and have the availability to work weekends

This role could become permanent for the right candidate.

Rates of Pay

Monday to Friday Days - £16 per hour

Monday to Friday Nights - £17 per hour

Saturday - £18 per hour

Sunday & Bank Holidays - £19 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Be prepared for various shift lengths

Drive Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently

Curtain side vehicles

Self tip may be required at some Customer sites

Comply with driving rules and laws

Ensure cab is well presented at all times

Be prepared to use a tail lift

Complete store deliveries and trunk runs

Ensure you load is secured correctly

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK CE licence

Have at least one year's experience driving CE vehicles

No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes

Have an in-date UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card

Experience operating various trailer types

Data on your tacho card from the last 60 days

Be prepared for handball

Good time keeping

Good communication skills

Positive 'Can do' attitude

Desirable Experience

Previous experience working as an ad hoc driver on general haulage is desirable but not essential.

Training

Industry related training and ongoing support throughout

Written and driving assessments may be required for this role
